    What is the Education Summit?

    The Course Hero Education Summit is an annual live event that brings together the higher education community. For three days, college faculty, administrators, researchers, university leaders and advocates connect on the latest in pedagogy and collaborative learning, while celebrating great teaching.

    This year's Summit focuses on the heart and science of teaching in 2021. Through keynotes and workshop sessions, educators explore ways to overcome a year of challenges and change, and engage students in this new, hybrid learning environment. 


    Is the Summit virtual or in-person?

    To ensure the safety of our attendees as the world gradually re-opens, this year's event will remain virtual.


    Are the sessions live or pre-recorded?

    All of our sessions are broadcast live. Recordings will be made available to registrants after the event.


    Will I get a certificate of attendance?

    We're happy to send you one. Please email us at educatorevents@coursehero.com if you'd like to receive a certificate.


    How do I join a session?

    1. Register for the Summit.

    2. Check your inbox for a confirmation email with the access link.You will receive reminder emails on each day of the event with a link to join. Clicking the Join button will take you to the Agenda page.

    3. On the Agenda page, click "Join Broadcast" under the session you want to join.

    For morning sessions (9 am – 12 pm PST):  Go to the Agenda page and click "Join Broadcast" under the session title. Note: If you’re on a mobile device, you will need to download the Bizzabo app.

    For afternoon sessions (12 pm – 3 pm PST): Download Zoom if you haven’t already. A session link will be available 2 minutes prior to the start of each session via the agenda page. Click "Join Broadcast" under the session you want to join 

    Please note: The "Join Broadcast" button appears 2 minutes before the session starts.

    All sessions are in US Pacific Time.

    If you accessed the event website directly (without using the link in your confirmation email), we'll ask you to login with the email address you used to register for the event.


    Why don't I see the "Join Broadcast" button?

    Will the sessions be recorded?

    Yes, most sessions will be recorded. Registrants will have access to the recordings a few days after the event.


    I'm having trouble accessing a session. Can someone help me troubleshoot?

    Yes.

    1. Visit the Agenda page and use our chatbox to connect with our support team. You can also follow the how-tos in our Attendee Troubleshooting Guide.

    2. The July 28th afternoon sessions and all of the July 30th sessions will be broadcast through Zoom. Please make sure you've installed Zoom on your device. If you're new to Zoom, this link will help get you set up.
